AI SDR alternatives: what 11x, Artisan and AiSDR are built to do
These three run outbound. They find people who have never heard of you, open by email and LinkedIn, and book a meeting for one of your reps. That is a real job. It is not the same job as answering the customer who messaged you at 11pm — and if that is the gap you are trying to close, you are comparing the wrong category.
Every vendor claim on this page is quoted from that vendor’s own site. Checked August 2026.
An AI SDR starts conversations. This page is about the ones that arrive.
What each one is built to do
Their own words first, then ours.
11x
Every inbound lead qualified in real time across any channel. Voice, chat, Whatsapp, and SMS.
11x sells two named digital workers. Alice runs outbound: list, research, personalised email and LinkedIn sequences, replies sorted, meetings booked. Julian answers inbound, qualifies on the spot, then transfers or books. Its pricing FAQ puts the entry point at $36,000 a year.
Pick them if the gap is pipeline that does not exist yet, opened at volume.
Artisan
Ava finds leads, enriches them, sends personalized messages, and books meetings on behalf of your reps.
Artisan sells one AI employee, Ava, described on its own site as an AI BDR. It also sells consolidation: the site says Ava replaces tools like ZoomInfo, Nooks and Outreach. All three tiers are “talk to sales” as of August 2026.
Pick them if cold outbound is your motion and you want data, sequencing and sending in one place.
AiSDR
Outbound AI SDR — email and LinkedIn.
AiSDR sits in the same category, and it is the one the other two measure themselves against: both 11x and Artisan publish head-to-head pages naming it. That tells you where the competition in this category really is — with each other, over outbound.
Pick them if you are shortlisting outbound tools and want a third quote.

Two jobs, five differences
Not better or worse. Different questions, answered differently.

The honest version
Category lines are a convenience. Here are the two places this one really does blur.
- 11x also sells an inbound worker. Its own pricing page promises every inbound lead “qualified in real time across any channel. Voice, chat, Whatsapp, and SMS.” That genuinely overlaps with our first few minutes. The split shows up after qualification: their finish line is a qualified lead passed on, ours is your sales process run to the end.
- If conversations are arriving and there still are not enough of them, both jobs are real. Plenty of teams run an outbound tool and something to work what comes in. We are not asking you to pick a side. We are asking you to notice these are two line items, not one.
Straight, since you will check anyway
Three each. Match the left column, buy the left column.

Choose an outbound AI SDR
- Not enough conversations start at all. The pipeline you need does not exist yet.
- You sell B2B, and email plus LinkedIn is genuinely where your buyers are.
- A booked meeting is a good place to hand over, because a person closes from there.

Choose TOPPP
- Enquiries already arrive — at night, at weekends, faster than your team can answer them.
- You have a method that works, proven by one or two people you cannot clone.
- The sale happens inside the conversation: in a chat thread, over days, not in one meeting.
If you just want something that answers questions and stops there, both categories are overkill. Buy an FAQ tool.
Four things people ask at this point
Is an AI SDR the same thing as an AI sales agent?
Both names get used loosely, and vendors on either side answer to both. In practice AI SDR describes outbound work: build a list, run sequences, book a meeting. TOPPP builds the other kind — an AI sales team that takes the conversation your customer started and runs it on the playbook you have already proven.
Does TOPPP do outbound as well?
TOPPP does not build prospect lists or run cold email sequences. It works the conversations that reach you, and keeps working them on your cadence. If cold outbound is the job you need filled, one of the three above fits it better.
We already bought an AI SDR. Does this replace it?
No. It sits on the other side of the same funnel. The outbound tool opens conversations that were never going to start; TOPPP works the ones already arriving at hours nobody is staffing. Teams that need both usually run both, and the two do not touch the same leads.
What do you need from us to start?
The sales method you have already proven — written down, or still living in your best closer’s head. TOPPP turns it into a team; the method stays yours. Custom is not the same as built from scratch: the platform is shared, the business logic is yours.
Bring a week of missed enquiries
A demo runs about 30 minutes. Bring the messages that came in after hours and the ones that got an answer the next morning, and we will walk through what a team built to your playbook would have done with them.
